Taking Workplace Safety Seriously
Pemco Construction Ltd. prides itself on an outstanding health and safety record and strives to achieve a ‘zero-incidents’ workplace on every project. Pemco places a high importance on safety and includes its own forces, subcontractors and clients in the safety process. Pemco has WCB premium rates well below the industry standard, and the company’s safety manual and on-site safety management system ensures that each project maintains a safe working environment for everyone involved. Employees receive training in CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid and other specialized training though the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
Pemco also utilizes a safety committee which ensures that the safety precautions taken at each jobsite are always up to Pemco's own lofty standards. The safety committee is headed by Safety Officer Kevin Lapes. If you have any further questions about Pemco’s safety policies, please contact Kevin at kevin@pemco.ab.ca
